Staying in my cozy cabin with direct views of the night sky was fantastic, and the communal dining experience allowed us to bond with fellow guests over delicious meals. The hot tub’s early closing time was a bit of a letdown, though I cherished the kind hospitality from the staff.

We had an amazing time exploring the beautiful hiking trails around the resort. The cozy cabin was perfect for our family, offering lovely views. Plus, the staff were super friendly and made our stay feel special, even accommodating my daughter’s vegetarian diet.
My kids wished for more family-friendly dining options.

Warm Hospitality and Adventure Await
My stay was truly unforgettable! The hosts, Renate and Wolfgang, instantly made me feel at home with their warm hospitality. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, and each morning, I enjoyed delicious meals that catered to a variety of tastes. Although I didn't get to witness the northern lights during my visit, the range of on-site activities and the inviting atmosphere left me eager to return for another chance. One improvement would be to have more dining options nearby for guests who prefer to explore local cuisine.

The experience at Northern Lights Resort & Spa was unique. Our cabin had large windows perfect for stargazing. I could lie in bed and watch the night sky, hoping to catch the Northern Lights. The morning meals were straightforward yet satisfying. James, the chef, prepared tasty dishes daily. We loved the hot chocolate during the evening campfires. However, the hot tub closed earlier than expected, which was disappointing after a long day of activities. Service timing also felt a bit off when we waited too long for check-in upon arrival. The walking trail on the property was beautiful, perfect for evening strolls. Overall, it was a pleasant stay with some notable misses.
